About Dhokra Art:

Dhokra art is a non-ferrous metal craft that involves the use of the lost-wax casting technique, and is known for its intricate designs and strength.

The lost-wax technique involves creating a mold by intricately patterning a clay core with wax ribbons, and then coating it with a mixture of clay and hay. Molten metal is then poured into the cavity, and the mold is left to cool.
